Chalchitram – Indian Cinema 110

This is an Invitation to all of our New England Area Performers to participate in the IAGB Republic Day 2024 celebrations.
The program will be held on January 27, 2024 (Saturday) at Burlington High School. The theme for the 2024 Republic Day Mela is ‘Chalchitram – Indian Cinema 110’, in celebration of 110 years of Indian cinema – 1913 to 2023.

We would like to extend our sincere invitation to the Indian American community to be a part of the ‘Chalchitram – Indian Cinema 110’ by submitting a performance entry highlighting the regional cinematic journey of an Indian state of your choice or the cinematic journey of Hindi (Bollywood)cinema.

These performances could be a short musical skit, a famous scene, or a dance medley of old timeless classics or new chartbuster songs from movies in an Indian regional language or Hindi cinema.
