Suicide Prevention:

MA Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1-800-273-8255

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a network of local crisis centers that are available 24/7 to provide support for youth and adults who are in any kind of emotional crisis.

Emotional Support:

MA Samaritan Helpline: 1-877-870-4673

The Samaritans Statewide Helpline is available to anyone in Massachusetts who is need of emotional support.  Anyone can call or text the helpline to receive help from specially trained volunteers.

Massachusetts high school and college students can also get online support through the IMHear_ program.  For high school students, volunteers ages 15-18 are available Monday-Thursday from 6-9PM.  For college students, IMHear_ is available Monday-Friday from 5-9PM.

Domestic and Dating Violence:

SafeLink Domestic Violence or Dating Violence Helpline: 1-877-785-2020

SafeLink is for anyone who is being affected by domestic violence or dating violence.  Volunteers at SafeLink speak English and Spanish, and SafeLink also has a service that can provide translation in more than 130 languages

Saheli: 1-866-472-4354

Saheli offers non-judgmental culturally sensitive domestic violence services for South Asian women and families in following languages Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Nepali and Arabic

Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health:

If you or a family member are experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis, the Emergency Services Program/Mobile Crisis Intervention (ESP/MCI) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Anyone may contact ESP/MCI for assistance.

The Helpline is the only statewide, public resource for finding substance use treatment, recovery, and problem gambling services. Helpline services are free and confidential. Our caring, trained Specialists will help you understand the treatment system and your options.

Team Aid provides assistance to people in crisis situations while traveling or living abroad, who are facing the death of a loved one in another country, or another equally devastating circumstance. They provide monetary or financial assistance, coordinating and dealing with governmental organizations or entities, obtaining clearances
